KANSAS CITY - More than 40 Missouri National Guardsmen were among area service members to display Old Glory during the national anthem before Sunday's playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
Guardsmen were greeted with overwhelming support and gratitude for their service by both the cheering fans and players from both teams.
As troops made their way off the field after "The Star-Spangled Banner," the crowd quickly started chanting U-S-A. Those within reach extended their hands to personally thank the service members for their service.
