The Wall that Heals visits northwest Missouri

BLUE SPRINGS - The Wall That Heals, the traveling half-scale exhibition of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall located in Washington, DC, was stationed in Blue Springs Sept. 30 - Oct. 3.
The display allows veterans, families, friends and students to honor the 58,000 men and women whose names are inscribed on the wall.
An information center and a variety of educational exhibits, including a static display from the Missouri Army National Guard, helped educate the public about the Vietnam War, its effect on the nation, as well as modern military equipment.
