Kull enlists in Missouri Army National Guard, prepares for commission

ST. JOSEPH - Morgan Kull, of St. Joseph, recently enlisted into the Missouri Army National Guard. In December, she will graduate from Missouri Western State University with a political science degree and will receive her commission as a second lieutenant.
Until then, Kull will drill in St. Joseph. Upon her commission, she is slated to be a platoon leader for Det. 1, 1128th Forward Support Company in Richmond.
"This will start my military career now," said Kull. "It was easy sometimes and hard sometimes. I was a military brat, so I've always been around the military."
Kull is a 2006 graduated from Central High School. She has been in the ROTC at MWSU for over four years.
Krull's husband, Troy, is also in the National Guard. He recently received his commission as a platoon leader with Battery A, 1-129th Field Artillery in Albany. He is a 2010 ROTC graduate from MWSU and earned a degree in history.
