ALBANY, Mo. - Missouri Army National Guard's Battery A, 1-129th Field Artillery in Albany ushered in new leadership during their recent drill weekend. Capt. Timothy Kohls, of Brookfield, relinquished his command on Sunday, Oct. 14 to Lt. Joshua Kolden, of Pleasant Hill, during a change of command ceremony.
For Kolden, who recently transferred from Battery B in Chillicothe, this is his first command position.
The unit said this was the first formal change of command ceremony to be held at the Albany armory in over three decades, if not all time. Representing the battalion during the ceremony was Maj. James Kinckerbocker, executive officer for the 1-129th.
