Early Commissioning Program
How the program works
- Join the Missouri Army National Guard as early as your junior year of high school.
- Attend Basic Training during the summer between your junior and senior year, or the summer of your senior year.
- Attend Advanced Individual Training after graduating from high school.
- Join the Early Commission Program (ECP at one of the five Military Junior Colleges throughout the nation.
- While attending the Military Junior College of your choice, earn up to $1,200 per month through the Simultaneous Membership and Early Commissioning Programs.
- Upon completion of the Early Commissioning Program after just TWO
years, commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Tennessee Army National
Guard!
- High School GPA 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- SAT 920 or ACT 19
- Complete one of the following:
- Five week Leadership Training Course
- Three years of JROTC
- Basic Training
- Honorable Prior Military Service
- Be of good moral character
