WHO CAN JOIN

DO YOU MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS

 

Technical

 

Age: Between 18-46 year of age

 

Citizenship:  Must be US citizen

 

Mental Aptitude: Minimum ASVAB GT score of 110

 

Education:  Must be a high school graduate or earned GED

 

English Language Competency:  Must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats

 

Security Clearance:  Must  possess or apply for a secret security clearance

 

Physical Standards:  Must pass the standard Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), wavier for alternate event on case by case basis

 

Leadership:  Must possess outstanding leadership traits

 

Pay Grade:  Be a Sergeant (E-5) or above (exception for E-4 and below on case by case basis.). Former officers or warrants are eligible for appointment without attending WOCS

MOS Prerequisite Must meet requirements for specific MOS applying for

 

 

 

 Aviation

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· US Citizenship

· 18-29  Year of Age (maximum 32)

· GT Score—minimum of 110

· High School Diploma

· No Felony History

· Letter of Recommendation from Unit Commander

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Waivers Are Not Permitted

· Eyesight 20/50, Correctable to 20/20

· No Color Blindness

· Pass Army Physical  Fitness Test (APFT)

· Meet Army Height and Weight Standards

· PRK & Lasik Eye Surgery is Acceptable On A Case By Case Basis With  Approved Exception to Policy

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

· Score a minimum of 90 on the Army Flight Aptitude Selection Test (AFAST)

· Successfully complete a Class 1A Flight Physical approved by USAAVNC

· Possess A Secret Security Clearance prior to attending Flight School

· Interview and approval of a Flight Facility Commander

· Obligate to serve at least 6 years in the Missouri Army  National Guard
