About Us
The 140th Regiment is part of the Total Army School System (TASS). The Regiment is part of a nine-state region (TASS Region F) and is organized at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri with a headquarters and     two battalions, the 1st Ordnance Battalion (OD) and 2nd General Studies (GS) Battalion. The RTI commander provides the leadership and guidance to support the entire regiment and also serves as the commandant of the NCOES and field.
LEADERSHIP: The MO-RTI is the proponent for leadership-oriented courses, to include BNCOC Phase I, Officer Candidate School (OCS), Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC) and Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC). Additional courses such as the Combat Lifesaver Course (CLC) are also offered, Information for all courses taught the MO-RTI is available through ATRRS, School Code: 999.
OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL:  2nd GS Battalion is organized with an Officer Candidate School (OCS) Company, an NCOES Leader Company and a Combat Arms (field artillery) Company. The OCS Company's mission is to provide new lieutenants for the MOARNG.  The MOARNG OCS parallels the program of instruction conducted by the active army program, requiring strict discipline, academic excellence, and leadership development

  NCOES   
The 2nd GS Battalion's Leader Company conducts courses in the Noncommissioned Officers Education System (NCOES) for enlisted personnel within the region. The courses are Common Leader Training for both the Advanced and Basic NCO Leadership Courses..
 

  ADDITIONAL COURSES The Missouri RTI also host other courses of instruction such as Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC), Small Group Instruction Training Course (SGITC) and COMBAT LIFESAVER.

  COMBAT LIFESAVER:  

PURPOSE:  The combat lifesaver course is designed to train non-medical soldiers to provide emergency medical care as a secondary mission. The course is demanding and ensures a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Combat Lifesaver principles. Exams are closed book and administered in controlled conditions.

PREPARATION:  To prepare for the course and the examinations, a copy of the buddy aid tasks will be sent to personnel with ATRRS applications, 30 days prior to the start of the course. The buddy aid tasks are tested on the first day without prior instruction. Instruction on the medical tasks will be conducted in a classroom environment. Students must ensure they bring notebook, pens, pencils, and a highlighter.

RTS-M

             
 The 5TH Ordnance Battalion; the battalion has coordinating authority over four Regional Training Sites - Maintenance (RTS-M) and 150 USAR ordnance instructors for the IDT school mission.  The Missouri RTS-M is   located at the Ike Skelton Training  Site in Jefferson City. The RTS-M conducts various wheeled and heavy maintenance MOSQ and additional skill identifier courses and the technical phases of 52C/52D, 62B/63 CMF Basic and Advanced NCO courses.   Please not the revision of AR 611-21 for line score changes for Maintenance CMFs

General Information  Students arriving with a pre-existing injury or medical condition that has not been diagnosed or has not been evaluated by proper military authority will be denied enrollment. The soldier will be returned to their unit as soon as possible. They may return when cleared by ARNG or USAR medical personnel.

2. Students reporting with a temporary physical profile or during the recovery period are not authorized to attend NCOES and will be denied enrollment. The soldier will be returned to their unit. The only temporary profile authorized is for shaving.

3. Students reporting for NCOES with a permanent physical profile will have the profile reviewed for correctness IAW AR 40-501.

a. Students arriving without a copy of their physical profile (DA Form 3349) will be given 72 hours to obtain documentation.  Failure to provide will result in dismissal.

4. Students who arrive with incomplete profiles will be given 72 hours from the report date to correct the deficiencies.
