LT Dan Band Concert with Event Host Gunny Ermy

Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band (Lt. Dan-Forrest Gump) performance. Gunnery Sgt R. Lee Ermey, national spokesperson for Unmet Needs and host of the History Channel’s, “Mail Call”, MC'd the concert broadcast via satellite and web-streamed to deployed military members The TeleCenter Network, in a partnership with the Army National Guard and MU Extension Service.  KCKN idonated bandwidth and The Video Works, Roland Park, donated the production of the event.

Military members having served to protect the United States during the Global War on Terrorism, as well as family members of those currently serving, were invited to attend a complimentary concert hosted by the VFW’s “Unmet Needs Program” as a Recognition and Thank You Concert for their service and sacrifice.

Benefit Performance for the Families of Service Members Affected by Katrina
 

Service Members and their families have free admission.  Refreshments provided.  All proceeds go to relief of military families affected by Hurricane Katrina

Keni is a former Army Ranger and member of the elite Task Force Ranger assault unit. Thomas fought in the Somalia battle recounted in the book and motion picture "Black Hawk Down." He was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.

In the tradition of Bob Hope’s USO tours, All Comedy Radio is doing its part to keep our troops in good spirits. To celebrate our 1st Birthday, All Comedy Radio KCKN hosted a special event featuring the nation’s hottest stand-up comics. It was our intention to have these comics deliver a family-friendly (PG-13) comedy show that was streamed in both audio and video to U.S. troops around the world. Also, there was an opportunity for family and friends to send a heartfelt greeting over to the troops. All Comedy Radio would like to show appreciation for the courageous job that your family members and friends are doing for our freedom.

New Year's Celebration Tribute to Service Men and Women and Their Families

There was a live interactive television broadcast on Friday, December 31, 2004 at 2:00 PM CST at the Traffic Downtown Club, 220 W. Walnut, Springfield, Missouri.  A live feed was broadcast to the groups soldiers serving in the War on Terrorism and Military Hospitals around the world, in cooperation with the University of Missouri's TeleCenter Network and the Missouri National Guard.

Tusk, who was just off their second MTV Tour, and the Traffic Downtown Club honored service members and their families with a special afternoon New Years Celebration.

Tusk's single “American Soldiers”, a moving tribute to the service members engaged in the War on Terrorism, set the tone of the celebration. The show was aired live on local radio, streamed live on the web to service members worldwide in addition to the live interactive broadcast to service members in select overseas and U.S. locations, allowing New Year's Eve to be celebrated in multiple time zones.

Les Browns Jr.'s Tribute to the Bob Hope USO Tour

Preformed November 5, 2004 @ 12:30 PM CST

The Show was a USO-type show similar to his dad's. Les Brown's Band of Renown played with Bob Hope for an amazing 50 years and entertained millions of American troops overseas on 18 USO Christmas Tours. Continuing this tradition the show was sent virtually to groups of troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and was web streamed to troops world wide.

This is a show everyone will want to see.

U.S. Troops stationed in Iraq will be participating in the Branson Cares Telethon for Hurricane Katrina Victims using an Interactive Television (ITV) connection allowing U.S. Troops to be part of the show.

The Branson Entertainment community is joining together to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina! A televised telethon is set to be broadcast from the Tri Lakes Center in Branson, Missouri Sunday, September 18, 2005 to be aired from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Central Time.
