Army Aviation Support Facility #3 Springfield, MO
The Army Aviation Flight Activity (AAFA) is co-located with the Missouri AVCRAD in Springfield, Mo. Our primary mission is to administer aircrew flight training and mission support in the UH-60A/L Blackhawk and C-23 Sherpas. Supported units include the 20th CAB, 1107th TASMG, 935th ASB, 3-135th AVN TAB, C Co. 1-106th AVN, and Det. 3, Co I, 185th AVN. Aircrews from the AAFA perform missions such as emergency mission support for natural disasters and other situations that require immediate utility aircraft response.
