The Highest Priority of the National Guard Counterdrug Program is Support to Domestic Law Enforcement Agencies and Community-Based Organizations, in their efforts to reduce the use of and trafficking in illicit drugs.  This program is executed by Authority of the States, District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, in concert with the National Drug Control Strategy.
Mission The National Guard Counterdrug Program, with members in most major communities, provides highly skilled personnel, specialized equipment, and facilities to support law enforcement agencies and community-based organizations in response to the changing drug threat.
Vision The National Guard will be recognized by law enforcement agencies, community-based organizations, and our citizens as the premier support force in creating a drug free nation.
