The Safety Office establishes policies and procedures that ensure work, field and training environments are safe for full-time support personnel and citizen soldiers.
These responsibilities are prescribed by federal statutes and are required by regulations issued by the Department of Defense, the Department of the Army and the National Guard Bureau.
Safety Office Staff. This Office consists of a State Safety Manager, a State Safety Specialist and a State Safety NCO. They are responsible for a wide variety of state and federal programs.
These programs include but are not limited too tactical safety, risk assessment/composite risk management, accident prevention, reporting and investigation, and OSHA compliance inspections.
