Command Sgt. Maj. Will Pierce

Command Sgt. Maj. Will Pierce joined the Army in October of 1987 as a supply specialist. Upon completion of his enlistment he was an in-service recruit into Company F, 735th Support Battalion, in Springfield, Mo. as an armorer.
He remained a member of Company F serving as an Active Guard Reserve unit supply sergeant, became a combat medic, and was selected to be the unit readiness noncommissioned officer in 1996. He served as the readiness NCO until 1999 when he was selected as the battalion operations sergeant for the 205th Medical Battalion.
He was selected as first sergeant for Headquarters Support Company, 205th Medical Battalion in 2001. He served as first sergeant through the battalion's Noble Eagle deployment to Fort Riley, Kan. from March to July 2003.
Upon redeployment from Ft Riley he was selected and transferred to the 35th Engineer as the brigade senior logistics NCO. He remained in this capacity until June of 2005 when he was selected to be 110th Combat Engineer Battalion command sergeant major.
He deployed to Iraq as the 110th command sergeant major in August 2005 through November 2006 then returned to the brigade as the senior LOG NCO.
In June 2007 he mobilized again to be the senior LOG NCO in support of 35th Engineer Brigade deployment to Iraq until May of 2008. Upon redeployment he was selected as the Joint Force Headquarters, J4 Senior Logistics NCO.
In August of 2009 he was selected as the 35th Engineer Brigade command sergeant major. Upon completion of his command sergeant major duties he, he returned to JFHQ as the J4 senior LOG NCO.

Pierce has been married to Kimberly Kay Pierce for 25 years and they reside in Camdenton with their two children, daughter Kara and son Will Jr.
